Ouuch!!! Surely it's painball......

I set my alarm early at 7plus. I woke up and quickly have a bite of breakfast and leaving my home at 8am. I was on the way to pick my another colleague scheldued together to play paintball.

I had a vagued idea where her house located. She gave me a small map to follow but I did many rounds to locate her house. (Needless to say, Im still not a local Penangnite even though, Im been living here for the past 10 years, yet In not sure of the road. Blah! :P)

But anyhow, after many calls and asking some locals where her house is exactly located, I managed to find it. Mind you, it takes 20 minutes. And off we go to the place.

We went there and most of us players have gathered at the site. And we are still waiting for all to arrive! Malaysian time!

Before the game begins, we are briefed about its rules and regulations and most important SAFETY.

We are briefed on the important of wearing protective masks ALL TIME while in the field, how to handle the gun on and off the field.

There were 5 groups, each group con sits of 6 of us. We were then taken to the field to have a tour and to strategies our attack.

Im getting suit up for the game!

We were the first group to go in the field. I was posted at the beginning of the field, covering on my right side. Shooting and attacking the opponents coming from the other side. I was covered by my colleague who's behind me.

My colleague went full force to the front without me knowing it and I keep on defending my right side, not knowing the enemy came and attacked me. I was hit on my right thigh.

It was over merely 5 minutes and all my counterparts are wounded.

Me and my colleague are getting ready to shoot and be shot!

We played another five rounds. There were many shots exchanged and many of us who are first timers are out within minutes. Of course, there are some who are better strategies and better in defense.

I've got hit 3 with large bruises in my body. It was painful eventually but for the thrill of the game, it was worthwhile.

Our group came fourth in placing.

Ps. This game is surely an adrenalin. I'm looking forward to another game of painball. Ouch!!!

This is the first paintball competition organised by my college and it's the first participant for me. I am so excited about it!

Paintball is a game, first played in 1981 in New Hampshire, in which players compete, in teams or individually, to eliminate opponents by hitting them with capsules containing paint (referred to as a paintball) from a gas-powered device called a paintball marker. The game is regularly played at a sporting level with worldwide leagues, tournaments, professional teams and players, but is also used by armies to supplement military training.

I always wanted to join, having the feeling of being hunted and hunting. It's also a good time of letting of the stress out by shooting all my opponents and having thrill of it.

But the downside is that I'm so afraid that my body will be bruised after hit by those bullets. Of course, there are body suits to protect me.

Ps. I can't wait for this game to begin. I will update more of this event after the event. Hope my team will win!

Wedding Surprises

Wedding does bring people together and some surprises. I was yesterday at my father's cousin daughter's wedding which make me she's my cousin, right?

The wedding was held at a chinese restaurant in Penang. Even though, I known my father's cousin but that doesnt mean I will know his daughter.

Off, we went to the wedding. A Chinese wedding with 8 courses of dinner served accompanied by karoke songs rendered by a MC with toasting of wine glasses wishing the newly wedded couple live long and happiness.

As I was about to leave, a lady came up and asked me whether I knew her. I looked at her frowning, asking her who is she. She looked familiar. I still cannot recall who is she.

She replied that she is my optometrist assistant and she's my aunty sister. What a small world! :)

I have never known that this lady of whom I visit monthly is somehow related to my family.

Ps. Have you ever encounter such surprises like this?

Nearly admitted

I was siting at church last Sunday and I felt a chill going through my body. I thought it was a cold chill blast from the air-conditioner.

Later, I went to a nearby mall for lunch and for some shopping and I felt the same chill. Due to the cool air blasted from the air-cond, I think.

I felt warmth came over my body that afternoon, knowing it was fever. Went home and took a warm bath and gulped 2 panadols down.

Thank God, the next day was a public holiday, but my fever still not subsided. Kept on taking panadols.

I woke up thinking my fever had gone down but did not. Took another 2 panadols and decided to go to work. At work, I decided to go and visit the doctor. After waiting for an hour, I seen her.

She took my diagnosis and look at my skin. Hmmm, I was wondering, why is she looking at my skin for?

She said that if my fever is not subsided within the next 2 days, I have to come in for a blood test. She said that I might contracted dengue fever!

After a one day of resting, taking medicines and eating soup noodle, next day, the fever is gone! Praise the Lord!

Ps. If not, I'm admitting myself in the hospital.
