Exactly lor. Isn't what this post is all about? We are given a choice between these two.
When I first started as a junior designer years back with a little over 1k of salary, I still opt for increments. I know I will be getting a better prospects jobs in years to come. If a company can't give me what I want, I move on.

Bonuses are just (empty) promises. It is not, I repeat, not a signed agreement.
Increment. Definitely. I'm all for long term.

Bonus! Coz got lump sum money. Increment a bit only la, unless it's a huge amount.
